Bilingual Finance & Administrative Assistant

Contexte et mission :

Position Summary:
KCR (Kinshasa Car Rentals) a startup business entity in the transport sector based in Kinshasa
is in search of the services of a bilingual candidate (English and French language) with a good
mastery of the town and understanding of the economic dynamics of the town of Kinshasa.
The Finance & Administrative Assistant will support financial, administrative and operational
tasks to ensure the smooth running of the office. The Finance & Administrative Assistant will
report directly to the AMD.
Main Tasks:
Finance Assistant
Manage petty cash, process travel expenses and distribution of cash advances;
Review vouchers and payment requests, including proper back-up documentation to
ensure compliance with procedures, rules and regulations;
Prepare payments for suppliers and staff, deposit/withdraw funds or make bank
transfers for operations;
Maintain all project accounting records up to date and in archival order for evaluation
purposes;
Track travel advances paid to staff and consultants for liquidation;
Support financial and accounting operations to complete day-to-day supply
transactions;
Maintain office, finance, and purchase order files, databases and assist with recording
the purchasing of supplies.
Work in close collaboration with other colleagues for the smooth running of operations
requiring support
Provide administrative support to the team in various aspects.
Prepare bank statements, bank reconciliations and other periodic reports to ensure
manager validation,
Support financial and accounting operations in order to complete transactions related
to daily operations,
Ensure the accuracy of timesheets by performing periodic checks,

Profil recherché :

Qualifications:
At least three (3) years of experience in finance and administrative and / or operational management, preferably within an international organization.
A degree in administration, economics, finance, accounting or a similar discipline will be prioritized.
Ability to adapt in a new environment and learn faster.
Demonstrate a good sense of initiative and make sound propositions that can be of added value to the organization.
Generally good cultured in character.
Fluency in French and English both oral and written is required.
Demonstrate an acceptable quality of integrity, loyalty and commitment
Exude a good sense of time consciousness and the ability to meet deadlines in record time.
Punctuality is highly required at all times.
Good leadership skills
Strong attention to detail and an ability to follow directions.

Excellent organizational skills.
Strong oral and written communication skills are required.
Discretion and respect for confidentiality is required.
Advanced Knowledge of MS Office programs (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel) is required.
Required basic knowledge of the use of scanners, printers, photocopiers and binding of documents
Ability to work in a multi-cultural environment.
Maintain the financial records and databases and help record financial transactions
And provide all other financial support t as needed.
