Sales Project Manager

Contexte et mission :

Roles and Responsibilities: 
1. Strategy 
Assist with the design of the sales, distribution and marketing country strategy. 
2. New Business Development Identify and develop new distribution partnerships, targeting importers, wholesalers, retailers, financial institutions, corporations/government institutions and NGOs. 
3. Activation & Merchandising Team I lire, train and manage a team of sales activators and researchers/enumerators. 
4. Account Management Assist with the management of key distribution partnerships/customer accounts and provide support when necessary. 
5. Market Research Lead BURN's on-the-ground market research projects, specifically, willingness to pay and usability studies for its existing and new product line. 
Minimum Bachelor level required, preferably in criminal justice, law enforcement, Police force, Security Risk Management, International Relations, Conflict Analysis, Intelligence Analysis, Diplomatic Studies, Conflict and Security, Counter Terrorism, or equivalent relevant technical field is required. 


Profil recherché :

Skills and Expérience: 
1. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and French 
2. 3+ years' experience in new business development, with a proven record in successfully identifying and developing B2B distribution partnerships in DRC 
3. 3+ years' experience managing a team of sales activators/agents 
4. 3+ years' experience running on-the-ground sales and marketing events in DRC, such as marketplace product activations/demonstrations 
5. Experience managing market research projects (preferably in relation to product sales), and working with data collection 
6. Strong analytic/number-crunching background, specifically sales and marketing data 
7. Enthusiastic, creative, a desire to 'sell for good' and willingness to get your 'hands dirty' 
8. Bachelor's degree from university 9. Experience with travel across DRC.
